Chaplain - Fr. Walter Nolte
Fr. Walter Nolte, ordained in 2003, wanted to be a priest for as long as he can remember. Perhaps that is due to his mother consecrating him to Mary while he was in her womb. He loves being a priest, "even on the bad days I cannot imagine doing anything else." Fr. Nolte believes he has been given a unique ministry by God, for bringing healing to people through Jesus; body, mind and spirit. He believes it is necessary to be anchored to Mary and the Eucharist if we want to remain calm amidst the storms of life. Fr. Nolte is pastor of St. Patrick's Fremont and has been the Chaplain of One Heart One Fire Ministries since 2018.
